Delray Research Associates (DRA), is located in Delray Beach, Florida.  The site is easily accessible from I-95 and the Florida Turnpike.  Due to the convenience of our location, we have a large patient population from both Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

There are five full-time Board Certified physicians; Philippe A. Saxe, M.D.; Phillip S. Kallen, M.D.; Steven I. Goodman, M.D.; MaryPat Clements, D.O; and Addie Dissick, M.D.  They are Board Certified in the following specialties: Internal Medicine, Rheumatology, and Pain Management.  Dr. Goodman is Board Certified in both Rheumatology and Pediatric rheumatology.  Our physicians have participated as Principal Investigators and Sub-Investigators in over 100 clinical trials, many as TOP ENROLLERS!  Their offices are directly adjacent to DRA.

Philippe A. Saxe, M.D., FACP is the Medical Director of Delray Research Associates.  As Director, Dr. Saxe is involved with every aspect of study implementation, starting with the acquisition of new research protocols.  He has comprehensive research experience, having served as Principal Investigator in numerous Phase I through Phase IV studies.

DRA employs three highly qualified clinical research coordinators.  The coordinators’ certifications include MA, and Phlebotomy.  Our professional team also consists of a Regulatory Affairs and Contract Associate, a dedicated IV Nurse with ACLS certification, and a receptionist.

  • Located within walking distance of the Delray Medical Center emergency department

  • On-site CLIA Certified Laboratory
  • I.V. Infusion Suite equipped and capable of infusing up to five patients simultaneously.  Staffed by and I.V. nurse.
  • Locked refrigerators, dedicated to research drugs
  • A centrifuge
  • A -20° freezer
  • Two refrigerators with temperature recorders
  • On-site archiving with off-site capabilities
  • Daily Fed-Ex and DHL pickup
  • 24-hour fax on a dedicated line
  • Individual computers for internet and e-mail access
  • We currently use both central IRBs and central labs
  • Ongoing training for staff and Investigators
  • Conference room that can accommodate up to 12 people and would be suitable for training sessions, meetings, etc
